Update/Edit: Here’s a continuation article, 14 months later, this time from the North Devon Journal Herald. Quite obviously a painstaking amount of effort had gone into renovating the place, readying it for public/civic use, and the premises naturally generated a fair amount of pride in the council & townsfolk alike – how quickly it changed?
